Anji Bai Cha

$80.00

Anji refers to the place where the tea is grown: Anji county of Zhejiang province

This tea cultivar was discovered in 1982, is not as widely planted as other teas and has a short harvesting period; it is a comparatively rare tea, and as such, is among the most expensive teas in China.

Widely regarded in China as one of the most healthiest green tea to drink, it has been scientifically proven to contain 3-4 times more theanine. (Theanine is the single most important determinant of tea quality. It is chiefly responsible for the soothing effects and full-bodied taste of fresh green tea)

Anji Bai Cha combines spring floral scents, sweet sappiness, and a lush, incredibly creamy texture.
