Mengding Yellow Buds (Meng Ding Huan Ya)



A type of yellow tea produced in Meng Mountain Si Chuan Province in China, Characterized with yellow liquor, yellow leaf. There is a unique processing step to make this yellow tea, where the tea leafs are wrapped with paper and kept damp about 7 days traditionally. This lightly oxidized tea has a mild flavor without the grassy smell associated with green tea.
